large water dish, living in sydney when it is full grown u could get a aivery and pond and could live outside year round, eat crickets woddies and pinkie mice as an adult but only say once a month, carrots, buck choy and dog food are also good food for them3x2x2 IMO would be a good size ofr a pair but i have a trio thats a few months old in a 4x2x1 and they love it

as an adult they are large lizards so i would use woodies as adults, and if you tame it right like any lizards they will eat out of your hand, crickets i only use on my younger water dragons cause they seem to run around more then woodies which go and hide under logs and my water dragons do not feed infront of me

ok thats sweet i would suggest a beardie as your first lizards as they are such a good pet and water dragons tend to be more flighty and dont handle as easy
