water for a water dragon

hi all, want to know if people heat the water (not the drinking water)in thier water dragon enclosure during winter/summer (indoor enclosure). im guessing summer would be fine but in winter the water in my room gets below 15deg.
thanks all

i dont use a water heater myself but friends of mine do. i bought my ewd when he was 4 from the only other home he'd had and they never used a heater so ive just continued doing what they had done for him. he has a thermostatically controlled environment and i was told the heat from that would be enough for him
each to there own opion thou

In winter they will just be sleeping anyway mate. No need to heat the water.

Wont matter mate, soon as it cools down they will hide under a rock or whatever and sleep out the winter.

You should be letting them hibernate for the general health and well being anyway.

mine are kept outdoors in adelaide gets bloody cold overnight in winter and no water heating and they still spend alot of the winter in the pond and even sleep in it.... the water couldnt be anymore than 4 degrees.....

in short.... dont bother wasting your time, money or electricity on a water heater!
