water python

just wondering could a water python live in a 4ftx2ftx2ft enclosure its whole life or would i need a bigger enclosure for it.not getting one yet but just want to know.

y not do some research on the size that it will grow to, and then make a judgment for ur self? and if u don't think it will b big enough then buy a bigger 1. simple.

spotted do you have john weigals book? It answers a number of questions that you ask......and most average sized pythons (like water pythons) are able to live in a 4ftx2ftx2ft enclosure.

You wouldn't want to keep a small WP in an enclosure that size but most adults will do fine. I have two in a 4w x 4h x 1.5d enclosure and have branches for them to climb on.

But waters don't normally get that big and most are calm snakes, all species have snappy individuals.
