Water Python Help

Heyy all.
I am most probably getting a hatchie water python in the next couple days or so...
just wondering if anyone has any pics of theirs and their enclosures

And if any on has any advice on them it will be greatly epreciated

Where's it coming from? I got mine yesterday and she's just gorgeous (pics to come in next couple of days) What sort of things do you want to know about? Mine's in a click clack for a while then will be going into a custom enclosure (smallish one to start with). Like lots of people have found, mine is quite cage defensive but once out is a real sook however most of her hatch mates were a lot more chompy. They do tend to settle down with time. Others with more experience will be able to help you a bit more if you have specific concerns.

ohk thankz tsubakai,
i was just wondering on avereage how big does a male get it and how much water is needed in there tanks, i no more then other snakes(as name sugests) but just wondering how much more

dont quote me on this but i heard they dont need any more water than other pythons
just drinking water
dont know too much about them however i would love to keep some myself
who are you getting yours from?

They only need as much water as normal pythons however if they have more they will use it. A few things I've picked up from the breeders are they are a little more susceptible to mites but with the yellow belly its not too hard to see them. The parents of mine did love to poop in their water so keep an eye on it daily. Lengthwise they get to around 8 foot so a 4 foot enclosure is adequate for an adult.
