Spot, don't worry, not your fault.

But if the woman didn't want anybody to know what was in it - ask her why she marked "Live Reptile" on the package ??
Hope it arrives healthy and well.
After this hard start, I'd give it a good rest before you start handling it. A whole week, be strong.
Em.

Well, that shows how totally unethical the person is. Sending something live with a chance that it can be mishandled. There is a thing called priority parcel post. If anything she should've used that.

Personally I would never accept anyone sending me a herp or any animal via normal post. I have seen first hand the way Aussie post handles things and it isn't good. Anyway if they know it is a live reptile(Iassume she marked it as such?) they put it to the side usually in an airconed room. Should be alright , fingers crossed

So is it illegal?? Do you know for sure that they put it aside and provide special care for it?? I don't see why anyone would risk their own job to protect a reptile that is for someone they don't even know.

Is all mail xrayed now fuscus? due to terrorism etc? hope they would not have it destroyed (dont freakout spotted) could spotted possibly be prosecuted for it too? surely npws or whoever, would take all circumstances into consideration, given spotted purchased in good faith and wasnt aware of postal laws.

I'm still getting my diamond off her.
she is a good herper

SHE KNOWS its illegal i told her and she said ' i know but its cheaper'

she said 'i haven't had a complaint yet because its cheeper and none have died'
She is NOT a good herper! ANYONE who would breed and then send by Australias Post is not a good herper but an aberation on the hobby and deserves to have her licence confiscated. Pleas give me this persons contact details, I will do the rest.

No she didnt, sorry, that was my idea, I meant generally something like "live animal/reptile" So it would not be thrown around. I would have thought that the least consideration she would have shown for her carefully raised (herp) progeny.

Really hope spotted post's that it arrives ok today, lots of us will be releived, Spotted most of all.
