yeah unfortunatly a cant back it up with a pic thats why I havent said anything but was with another herper, in the middle of winter and wasnt looking for reptiles lol...it was half frozen on the road...but i have gone up there countless times and havent seen anything else like it..

Ive seen both diamonds and carpets around the sunshine coast. Before I moved down here.

Maybe an ilegal release of the species, tell me where does the range finish?

I very much doubt that unless it was a an escapee or illegal release as Agamidae has said, the Sunshine Coast is many 100's of k's outside of their range.

i love cunningham's gap. Haven't been for a walk up there for about 2 years. Will have to go again one day soon.

I dont think these diamond looking carpets would be diamonds, just coastals that look similar because of their pattern. If that makes any sence.
