I cant deide what bluetongue i should get. Can someone please tell the relativlt cheaper ones? Are any considered better for a first lizard or are they basically the same.

Blotched or Eastern ("common") are the cheapest and probably are equal best bluetongues to start with.

eastern blueys are more common and are the cheapest. Usually around $20 each. Not sure about the difficultly of other species, although the northern? bluetongues have been known for problems on their belly's, I think bigguy could help you there.
but there isnt much difference between the 2 class one species, except that the blotched blueys usually cost more.
A fisktank or large plastic container are excellent for babies, as the are easy to clean and monitor eating and faeces. They are also easier to clean

No, they most certainly do not. Bluetongues may, or may not, but I know that very many lizards don't, including many skinks.

yeah, well I thought I had heard that all lizards do, but wasn't sure which is why I made it a question rather than a statement.
