Your not even allowed domestic rabbits without a license in QLD (i think).

you can go to the pound and get for free ones thats will be put down anyway
i wouldn't use cats because of the possible risk factors
i would stick to lab mice and rats

And Bryony, large snakes need large food items. My scrub python has a really hard time getting down a piddly rat and rabbits are illegal in Qld so i can't breed them to feed my babies. |
