What about sparrows and other introduced birds? Exotic, invasive and certainly damaging to the enviroment. I understand the problems with feeding wild animals to our beloved animals but what about the legalities?

Chickens don't provide much meat either. I personally prefer using kittens.

i hate it when they say free rats not for snake food in there adds ! it seems as long as you pay they dont care what happens to them !

If it's not considered 'domestic' by QPWS then it isn't legal

I have been informed that the only 'domestic' animals that i can feed my snakes are rats, mice, chickens, pigeons, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits if they are available for purchase (legally of course).

Many pple think it's harsh feeding a cat to a snake also.
