What lizard is this?

Can anyone tell me what critter this is?

These picture were snapped not far from Frankston, Victoria, in a suburban garden.

Sorry the pics are not very good since it was getting dark and quite windy at the time.

I'm thinking it may be a variety of gecko or a very, very young bluetongue. The leaf it is sitting on is a Daylilly and would be approx. 20mm across. Therefore the lizard is only about 10cm long at most.

Certainly a gecko of some description, definately not a beby blue tongue.
