what sealant to use on wood?

so heres the peice of ******* i plan to turn into something over the next few weeks



my question is what sealant should i use that is non-toxic and good for herps etc. that goes well on wood?

i use the same as denno and that looks like it will turn into a nice bank of enclosures and are you going to make them seperate enclosures or make holes to turn it into one big enclosure?

it was great i found my neighbor had chucked it in the back lane last night and i saw it when i was putting some garbage out
