Sorry but from the experience weve had 20years plus its impossible to regurgate just the skin a week later...Ive got a couple of juvy's that i fed yesterday on med mice first time they had been on pinkies and they are fat as fools but the only way they are able to pass the hair is in their poo not by mouth.7 days their acid in their stomach should have absorbed the lot or at least passed them via thier poop are you sure that they havent been laying on it and youve only just found it,??We have never heard of that after such a long time almost impossible nothing stays solid in the gut for that long the acid in the gut must break it down...
maybe its the brew your drinking lol.

Are the warm enough???? Just a theory. But if they don't get warm enough they can't diggest their food - and will rot in the stomach...... possibly causing them to regurgitate the rats.....

Rather than skins - I would say it is a regurgitation of the semi-digested rat.
This is never a good situation, monitor them closely and quarantine them from any other animals you have.

the heat is at 25 to 32 but when the uv is on it only lets it get down to 25.4 so the termo desent kick in. if i put the heat up any more to adjust for the uv it goes way to high

Perhaps they have worms?
Apparently this can cause them to regurgitate their food.
I don't know how long that takes though.
Just a thought.
Good luck with it!!

i had the same problem with my diamond yearling, so not impossible at all, i gave her a weaner rat and she took it no probs, nearly a week later she regurgitated the skin and fur... i saw this happen so not my imagination, i tried her with a smaller rat a week later and it stayed down... so i figured her food was to big... have had no probs since.

I'd suggest that you should try a different rat supplier or go back to pinkies for a while until things settle down.
Hope all goes well

Is this in the warm end, middle or cool end? Does it stay up at around 28-30 degrees very much? After 5-6 days it should be completely digested, I don't think its a problem with the rats. My first guess would be that they're too cold, that would cause problems digesting.
Have you asked a reptile vet about it? To find out if it has worms you don't just look at the poo, a vet usually needs to look at it under a microscope (faecal float test or something).
