Unhappy What's with my snake?

I feed my 2 y.o. Childreni every 10 days and today is the second time strait that she has refused a feed.

10 days ago, I gave her an Extra Large Mouse and he didn't want it. Today, thinking that she would be hungry due to not eating for 20 days, I fed her early. I normally feed her at night. This time I gave her a Weaner Rat. She showed interest at first but didn't strike it, then wasn't interested after that at all, so I threw the rat out. I can't afford to keep throwing out expensive rats/mice.

I did notice yesterday that she maybe coming up to a shed so I will offer her a feed after she has shed.

I know that they can go for a long time in the winter without eating, but how long can they go without eating in the summer without loosing condition?

Check the basics, is the temperature in the enclosure hot enough, is there white dots on her skin (mite poo) or black dots (mite), is she coming up for a slough, does she have a hide box. i found if the food isn't warm enough they will refuse untill its heated up.

Snakes will go just as long in all seasons with out food some go off it for up to and over 12 months without visable losing condition and can sometimes make them look better. 20 days is nothing to worry about i have a darwin that does that frequently eats stops for a month then eats then stops.
having more than 1 snake is always a good way to get rid of excess food without wastage.

The mouse costs you the same wether the snake eats it or you throw it out so dont worry.

Wombat , 20 days is nothing to worry about , especially at 2 years of age ...just wait till she sheds and try again .

Yeah mine is like that, sometimes goes a month or so without eating,

When you do have another go, use what she was used to, a mouse, once she is feeding properly again , then introduce her to rats.

I wouldn't be worried about it at all, like the others have said, they can go a long time.

Thank you to the ones who gave helpful advice.

I have no intention of getting any more snakes. The more snakes the higher the power bill and food bill.

She has been spending a lot of time in her hide of late. I got her out the day before feed day and noticed her skin was dull and her eyes were slightly milky. That's how I knew she was coming up to a shed.

The sooner she's eating again, the sooner I can relax. I ave owned her since she was 2 months old.
