I just open the top of my enclosure if they come out they are happy to be handled, if they don't I leave them alone. Works for me but as willow said sometimes they come out mid shed because they need some help.

I got him out this afternoon but he was alittle tense and snappy which was new for him so back in his tank he goes for a few days and Ill try again. I do want to be able to handle him and he did have a great temprement when I got him. I guess its all new to us both!! Ill try and get a few pics in the next day or two. Hes a new lad with his new skin!!
