When using Selleys liquid nails...how long?

When using Selleys Liquid Nails.....
to glue slate on wood for a shelf in a wooden habitat.....
shelf will be screwed to habitat.....
how long before i can safely put shelf in .....fume wise?

its for my Accie....Hope

so i scew it, glue it, & she cant use it for a week.....bugger!

how about if i put it another old habitat under a heat light...would it be quicker....to dry & de-fume?

I don't know if putting under heat will speed up the process i reckon just letting it air outisde is probably the best and check the strength of smell each day it may not take a week imho.

Wait for a week??????? hell it's only a lizard........I've used liquid nails on snake cages and put the snakes in the next day..................

Most liquid nails tubes have the time limit before it should be exposed to water, which is usually around 24-48hours..... So i would imagine it would be pretty safe after that time limit....

just remember that once its cured and you cant smell anything.... that that may not be the case once its in a confined enclosure with heat added to it...
