I use tiles.... easy to clean, safe and hygenic, cheap, look great, hold the heat....

what about sterile soil and reptile bark?

they are ok but can cause problems if your snake eats in its enclosure.... it will probably ingest the loose substrate at some point and could cause compaction problems etc....

you would also have to replace the soil/bark every week or so for a full clean out...

im sorry to hear that.. i think i was just thinkin of those cause they would look nicer... butchers paper i think ill go with... bugger a mate just bought me soil and bark...

I know that it looks pretty to use those things but honestly i think they cause to many dramas.

And firt most you have to look after the wellbeing of your snake.
