Since when does 4mm glass not fit into 4mm tracks?

dunno mate maybe the glass or tracking is wrong? or maybe the 4mm glass needs 5mm tracking? who knows...

If you force it and try really hard a round peg fits in a square hole you know!!

It does? I tried for 4 hours and couldn't get it in... i'll try longer next time.

I'm guessing i need 5mm track.. but i have used 6mm track for 6mm glass before no probs?

I think you're correct. 4mm track it spaced 4mm, not designed for 4mm glass.

I'm not sure mate, i think it may be although i was told it was just normal glass. When i took it down to have finger grooves put in it, the glazier was of the opinion it was toughened so didn't want to try it as it would have shattered if it was. So i guess that could be it.

Mr Bredli, you can buy stick-on finger holds, they are really good.
We have been using them over 4 years, never had one fall off!!!!
And it does help keep the glass clean.
