Wild Australisia DVD

Just brought the Wild Australisia DVD produced by the BBC. I've only seen the first two of six programs. It is mainly on fur and feathers (of course) but program 2 had a good part on Thorny Devils including a hatching sequence.

but

They was a bit about "Sand" goannas in program #2 which I assumed were V. gouldii (the animals looked different to the V. gouldii but that could be regional) but they had a hatching scene from a nest in a termite mound (V. gouldii lay in borrows according to my books) and the hatchlings didn't look like V. gouldii to me, more like V. spencerii to me. But V. spencerii also lay in burrows!

Of course, only a real reptile nut would notice something like that.
