If it was to be done. just keep them on opposite sides. The smell of the snake can also stress the mouse but if they arn't too close they will get used to the scents of each other living in the same room. You will be able to tell if either are affected by their behaviour.

I have two pet rats and one yearling coastal, the rats live in the next room but even when I have my snake in that room with me he doesn't react to their scent at all, he doesn't seem to recognize it as a food smell. Maybe because he's been fed pre-killed thawed rodents since he hatched?
