Wink woodie egg pic

thought id post a pic of a woodie aka speckled feeder roach laying an egg (i assume it an egg anyway lol) if it isnt then HELP one of my woodies has impaction!!....if anyone was interested, i know i was never seen it before hehe

lol same jordan.... this is the first one ive seen in the 3 to 4 months ive had woodies..... couldnt find a pic online when i googled it before i started breeding them to know what to look for either lol... ive never seen an egg before today but they are breeding coz theres always a few widdle babies running around

If you look closer you'll find they're actually live young compacted into an egg sack shape. They separate and scurry off soon after.

great pics, i was wondering this recently myself what to look for. i'm paranoid of cleaning out the woodie bin cos i dont want to throw out any eggs. do other people clean their woodie enclosures?

i clean it out about one every 3 weeks... i just move all the egg cartons to one end and the woodies follow and then i vacuum that end and do the same to the other end lol mum loves me using the vacuum hehe

ok just thought it was cool.... and a lil grose considering the egg sack is huge!!.... and thought it would help people who breed woodies.... when i first started i googled woodie eggs and there are no pics of it so i was at a loss

if you so seem them in the cage and not poking out of mum they are duds.
