My beardy is just on 5 months old, and I alternate between crix and woodies. I ran out of crix and appropriate sized woodies (Im breeding woodies) so went down to local pet store to get some.
They only had large (not breeders) sized woodies, so I had to get them.
Now (without sounding awful) I cut their heads off and then cut their bodies in half and fed them to her, and she seemed fine eating them.
Is this okay to do if I have run out of the proper sized ones for her? (I cut their heads off first, as I dont want them to feel pain
) but just wanted to know if this will harm my beardie in anyway?
The pieces of woodies are still small enough (no bigger than the space between her eyes)
