Worming pythons

Is this necessary? I have never heard of it before. If so, do you guys know of an online store where I can get the product to do it?

Ive never wormed my pythons but know a few people that do.
They only worm their snakes that are of breeding age and use a Broad Spectrum All Wormer. You can get it from any supermarket. Get one for dogs and puppies, make sure its safe for puppies though. That way its not harsh on your python.
Make sure you read the directions and give your python half the dose that is recommended for a puppie of the same weight.

personally i wouldn't do that simply because its not specified to reptiles however it probably wouldn't do harm "shrug"

I worm my pythons once a year with Reptile Science Wormrid which gives you directions on how much to use per weight etc.

One of the biggest Aspidites breeders in oz, that I deal a lot with.
Worms all his aldut Pythons once a year with a Broad Spectrum Dog and Puppie all wormer. He has 10s of thousands of $$$ worth of BHPS and Womas. If it wasnt safe he wouldnt risk it.

probably not mate but I wouldn't even think of it, considering there products out there that guide you on how much is needed to worm the size of snake, Dragon lady The product I have mention purely goes on weight of the animal, 4 drops per kilo of body weight so if you snake weighted in at 500grams 2 drops

If you use Pkings method you use an eye dropper (x amount of drops per kilo) on the rodent you are going to feed your Python.

Or if you use a worming tablet, break it to the size you need for the weight of your python and put the tablet piece into the feeder rodents mouth b4 feeding.
