yeah don't worry hatches have been know not to eat for 6 to 8 months due to them still full on their yolk from their egg the reason for this is survival, in the wild the hatchling may not get another feed for a while so the egg yolk keeps them alive until they can catch something

By feeding your snake a skink you have made things difficult for yourself. Your snake now has a strong preference for food which smells like skink, it may take some effort to convince it to eat rodents.
The first thing you should do is make sure your snake feels secure; this means checking your temps and placing it in a click clack with a hide in a quiet room.
Then you should offer the snake a pink mouse once a week or so, try tapping the snakes neck with the pinky...this provokes a strike.
I would try this for several weeks and only as a last resort you could use skink scenting; rubbing skink urine or blood from a skink tail. Skink scenting will work very quickly but it prolongs the preference for skink and is inconvenient. Catching skinks is illegal and annoying...I would try very hard to train your snake to eat rodents.
Have patience and good luck.

double check with your breeder if he/she was feeding it rats or mice as it took me ages to wean my stimmy off mcie and onto rats. And also see how they got it to feed as in what did they do, did they jiggle the mice froma pair of tongs infront of the snake or just leave it in its container overnight? Eitherway i wouldnt worry too much.
