Nev I think you have a few things mixed here..It is not the teachers it is the education system that is failing our children..
Can I add that we all have faults some of us cant spell properly and some of us lack compasion and some are too quick to judge.
I do not think it matters what age some one is,,we are all on the site to talk herps NOT be put on the spot for a spelling test by the class teacher Mr Nev.

A lesson well learned. Snakes and Tape don't mix as you are now well aware. Remove all tape, and get an adult to help you get an alternative to the tape sorted out.
