What is best stuff to make faux rock stuff

Hi guys I'm after some hints on where to get lots of good polystyrene sheets etc cheap bout 1-2 inch thick to build my own hides and walls etc I'm in Lockyer waters but am willing to go to Ipswich to get them, does anyone know what I will need to do this? And best place to get what I need from where I am! Thanks guys

You could try your local aquarium shop they get their fish on styrofoam boxes if all else fails. If you have a look in the DIY section on here they have covered this thing before once or twice. Good luck

I rang Clark rubber, some places have it some dont, they gave me a number for a place in cairns that sells huge sheets cheap

I asked my local Harvery Norman store very nicely and walked away with some really great pieces from the packing around the white goods they had sold from various displays. Otherwise I have no idea, sorry.

Ring your local target/kmart etc.
Ask to speak to the loading dock.
Tell them you are making Ularu for a school project, or your kids school project.
They will spu some asside for you, (it is waste for them).
Some of the creative shapes may inspire you.
It comes in different densities. Caulliefolwer boxes are hard to work, but strong.
Liquid nails to join pieces together.
Use a hack saw blade and "little Devil" blow torch, ($20 from Bunnings) to shape.

Thanks guys will see what I can bribe out of some shops I found a place near Brisbane and got a few off cuts and have already today made 1 staircase temple theme for my bearded dragon and 2 caves, so far I have only liquid nailed them 2moro I will grout a few layers then air brush some colour onto them and after I heat seal the paint I will clear aquarium safe sealent them all up, I will take some pics of them and post them up thanks for all ur help, will go have a look at the ones you made now tiny
