around midday-afternoon, about 2-3 times a week for hatchies, 1-2 times a week for juvies, and 1 every week for adults.
best to feed them in a seperate tub, so they dont attack you if you are near, only know when they are in the tub it is time for food, sort of training them.
hope this helps!

feed time
yeah in a tub sounds like the go but are you ment to handle them just after they have eaten to return them to enclosure ? i thought it was best not to handle them just after they have eaten like for few days to give them time to digest ? help me out guys any info to me now is good info as i want to know as much as i a can ,

mine are all fed in there enclosures after dark, & I keep handling to daylight hours. I feed them once every 5 days for hatchies, once a week for juvies & every few weeks for adults
-
i wouldnt handle em after theyve just eaten!
best leave it awhile
what temp do you have im at? the hotter, the faster he will digest i think.... not too hot lol
-
I wouldnt suggest feeding a diamond 2-3 times a week.

Oxyuranus microlepid,
Perhaps you should do a little more research before advising others
2-3 times a week? Midday-afternoon? The hotter the better for digestion?
Glad I did my own research before getting into Herps.
Would hate to of recieved the wrong advice off a forum from a newby lol.

Feed them anytime, but IMO they seem more active & in hunt mode at night.
Feed 20 - 25% of the snakes weight per sitting, once a week while young. When adult once a week/fortnight depending on time of year. Keep hot end at around 30-32 degrees. JMO. I feed mine in the enclosure but always use a hook when removing for medical/cleaning etc.Last edited by JandC_Reptiles; 03-Jan-07 at 05:26 PM.

omfg! nice advice oxyuranus LOL
hey adam, what J&C reccomended is what i do too.....
everyone has different opinions on feeding in and out of enclosures.... i always feed them in the enclosures to save handling them after a feed and have never had a problem!ALWAYS Judge A Person By The Way They Treat Someone
Who Can Be Of NO Possible Use To Them!

you know guys, a simple: "i dont think thats right" would have suficed!
