Laybox substrate for Amyae?
Hey guys, i think one of my female Nephrurus Amyae is gravid and I need to make a lay box ASAP. What's the best substrate to put inside it? wet sand? and what temp should it be inside it. Cheers

Im not sure about your questions, but ill definetely buy one off you if she is gravid

damp sand so it holds a burrow, but not wet so it ruins her eggs,..
mine have finished laying for teh year, last clutch dropped was on the 12/2.
can you actually see the eggs? Some people are like slinkys, not really good fro anything, but still bring a smile to ur face when u push them down a flight of stairs,....

I use moist sand in the lay box. I put the lay box in the cool (room temp) end. I dig the eggs up once laid put them in a container with perlite 60%-40% water by weight and place in the incubator. Set about 29 degrees. Mine lay between 2-7 days after pre lay shed.
