My new(ish) central bearded dragon - pretty pictures!
Way back at the end of February, at the beginning of the uni semester, I welcomed a three-month-old baby beardie to the household. Now that the uni semester is over, I have time to post some pictures!
Kirby has been growing at an insane pace. When she first arrived, she looked like this:

In mid-April, at about 100 grams, she shed for the second time with me:

Afterwards she looked like this:

Beardie with a grass habit:
And my favourite shot of her so far:

These photos were taken only a couple of days ago. She's coming up to a shed (again), but I couldn't help but take the camera out for this:

I reckon it brings out the orange around her eyes.
Finally, some shots of Kirby taking a bath in the sun, taken on Monday. She's now 275 grams.

Damnit, I've been resisting the urge to get a beardie, but after looking at these photo's my resolve is swiftly diminishing, great work mate!

Thanks, guys.
She's out in the sun again today. She pooped before I put her outside so I took the opportunity to weigh her again - 294 grams. This in a week when I had so many exams she got fewer insects than usual. She has one insect-free day a week; I think I'll make that two or she's going to be a fat beardie when she stops growing.Proud custodian of Zephyr, a female wheatbelt Stimmie (hatched 13/12/10)

Aw, what a lovely dragon!!
I'm astonished at how fast they can grow, too - my new boy dragon (just realised he's a boy!) has grown as much in the last 3/4 weeks as my last dragon did in six months. (She actually died not long ago, still no idea why, but given the contrast with Felix's eating/growing habits we suspect she may have just been a major, major runt. Like, at a year old she was about 12 cm S-V.)
Also congrats on finishing for the semester, I have one more exam tomorrow morning. v_v

nice one mate

Yeah, she's definitely very robust, especially for a female! Are you sure she's a girl?

She is super pretty though, I hope my Felix turns out as lovely - it looks like he may actually have quite similar colouration.
I think it went pretty well, and thank you! It was molecular genetics, so not really my main area of interest, but I think I did a good job.
How were your exams/semester? Also how great is it to be done!
