    Reptile breeders

    Hello my fellow freinds,
How are we all? Do you know any shingleback or bearded dragon breeders in NSW but mostly in western sydney area? And a rough price they sell them for?

Shingleback juvies are around $80 and Beardies go for $40-$50.
Of course prices vary for adults.
I don't know any breeders in western Sydney.
It is much easier to criticise than it is to create, that's why so many people do it.

Also, Eastern Beardies could probably be expected to go for a bit more than the Vitties because they seem to be a lot less common.

I will be getting the bearded dragon or shingleback next year sometime or as soon as they have juviniles.
And are they good for a first time reptile keeper?

They are both great choices. They are easy to keep. Beardies are particularly hardy when adults. As juvies though, they have a bit higher mortality rate. You have to be careful not to feed them crickets that are too big or it can kill them.My advice to a beginner would be to get a beardie that is a few months old as they are a lot easier to look after once they are established.
    Beardies have great personalities too.
