    Snakes in Mackay

    Guys i was wondering if anyone can give me a little insight on snakes in mackay region.
    My Husband is going up there next week to make a movie and they are filming about 40k west of town i think, on a big property near an old vocano site...(sketchy info but thats all i was listening to before i shut off).
    Anyway so he asked me what sort of snakes may be round that area (venemous that is).
    Any locals that can help?

    You would definitely find Browns, King Browns and Taipans. Probably some different Whip snakes, Common Death adder and maybe the Pale Headed snake.
    I'm sure others can come up with more
