    Question Blue Tounge Breeding

Would someone be able to tell me what time of year is the best to try a bluey mating?Im thinking I may have left it too late for this season but would like to know when is the time?
Also Ive got a female bluey (definatly ) and looked at another one of similar size today and noticed that its tail was pointy almost sharp on the end where as my girl's tail although almost the same tapper is no where near as pointy and not as tappered from her back legs to the tip. Some advise would be great thanks in advance.

    Hi OdessaStud,

You wanted to know if it was to late for your Blue-Tongues to breed, it depends on what form or
    locality your Blue-Tongues come from.
There is a website, where you can learn a'lot about keeping and breeding Blue-Tongues.

    Go to www.bluetongueskinks.net.

l have just hatched 9 baby Northern Blue-Tongue Lizards, the ones l have got come from the
Kimberley Region of WA, and they are beautiful looking, you can see pictures of them on the
web site l told you about.

Hope you get to breed yours.

    Cheers

    Kev.

Blue tongues are good.. I think they're the most common first reptile as pets aswell.

Odessa - I think my blotchies are still going at this time of the year so you may not have missed the boat yet.
Repz - just get a 4ft x 2ft min (imo) that way they can grow into it rather than starting them in a small enclosure and buying bigger ones as they grow.
