A few q's?

At 9mths, how often should I be feeding my carpet python. Have read that you should not feed till they crap, any input? How long should it take for the snake to digest and crap? Do all carpets disklike being soaked in warm(really slightly warm so as not to cook he) water or is mine the only one that has a fit? Is it just me or do carpets have amazing growth spurts? Thanks as always.

A good feed once a week is plenty.
About four days give or take.
No/ probably not.
