A little advise please

Hi Peeps, I have had my Centralian for about a month now and all is well except for tonight. I noticed he has cloudy eyes and is a bit grumpy (struck at me but missed by a long shot as he can see **** ). I'm assuming that he is coming into a shed. He took a feed last night and his eyes have only gone cloudy starting today. He seems to be very lethargic as well. Is this the norm behaviour? He is also a bit blind and bumping into stuff. How long should it take approx until he sheds? And when should I mist the enclosure? Cheers Brad

When their cloudy they will usually remain in their hide as they don't feel so secure as they can't see as well, is this what you mean by lethargic? The cloudy eyes should only last a few days then clear up then should shed at around a week later but every snake is different.

You can start misting now if you want it won't do the snake any harm, but is more important closer to the shed date.

Yea every time is diffrent, somtimes it happens really early and surprises u but somtimes it takes ages and u start to think somthing is wrong. but dont worry. Yea when they have milky eyes they cant really see very well for obviouse reasons and are often very snappy.

I wouldn't worry about doing anything. Bredlii are a desert python and shouldn't need to be spayed. If it aint broke, don't try to fix it.
