What do the white patches feel like? Are they sticky or have they lost their glossy sheen?

We have an adult stimmie that has a couple of patches
very simular, they are a small patcyh of different colored scales
and dont pose any problem. By the way that snake isnt a childreni
it looks more stimsoni

Okay, as long as the scales are still clean, smooth and glossy then i wouldn't be too concerned. Possibly just losing pigmentation??

Oh, and i thought it looked like a Stimsons Python, too!
