with a possible pending egg laying i am looking at setting up an incubator.
i was going to set it up in a brokoli (spelling??) box. is it is foam with good thermal properties.
from there i was thinking heat cord - i am unsure of what wattage to go for - any advice?
and some thermostat. either the microclimate ministat or a thermostat plus.... any opinions?
does the microclimate have a plug socket or do you need to hardwire the the heat cord to the thermo.
basically i dont wanna spend too much... any suggestions and reasons why would be appreciated.
Cheers

It should easily reach the temps you're after for the size that a Brocoli box is. Have it plugged into a Microclimate dimming thermostat and all should be good. I think all other thermostats are designed to be mounted on walls which wouldnt work in a styrofoam box. Avoid the "black box" probe thermostat as they're quite unreliable.
