Vitamins when you bath ?? How does that work ?
I don't 'bath' my snakes unless they are covered in poop or are having a bad shed. There is no reason to otherwise.
I might give them a 'swim' on a super hot day.

Is it in your bath tub?
Do you get in as well (haha... not a silly question)?
Did you just let them check it out, or throw them in?
All questions I am curious about... I don't think I will bath my spotted (when she arrives) but if i put her near water and she likes it then I see no harm in that (surely???)

i have them in the bath but the mac i did in an ice cream container
generally i keep it above room temp ( warm but not hot )
but i have found that if you put some branches and other stuff in the water that floats they stay in alot longer
and just throw them in if they dont want to dont force it i have a little girl jungle who wont go, hates going by herself but is fine in a group of 3 or even 2 she even goes under |

The water temp should be unable to be felt against your wrist. When you put your wrist in, at the wrist point (not the hand) the water should feel neither warm, nor cool. In fact, you should have to swish your wrist around to even feel the water at all.
Remember how it feels to climb into a warm bath when you are feeling cold, that the water is often too hot for you to even tip a toe in. This is roughly what 'our' warm would feel like to a snake and we go and dunk an entire snake body in!
Always make sure the water is at a temperature that you would consider too cold to put yourself into. It is better to be too cool than too hot. Heat stress can KILL a snake.
Have I made myself very clear here ?

well i guess I can see if she likes it by putting her on the sink and if she gets in, then agreed, she likes it, if she looks stressed, take her out and risk the bite... But as far as the vitamins go.. I hear injecting into the food is the way to go!

oh oh oh
Another quick point. Lost_in_the_Jungle's pic just reminded me of.
If you use the bath to wash or swim your snakes, do as LitJ has done and make sure the plug has had rings and anything else a snake tail can grab, removed from it. I even go so far as to put a tile, brick or rock on top of my plug so it can't be reached at all.
Snake tails have a habit of gripping onto things and a plug pulled out while a snake is in the water could have disasterous results.

when you say vitamins
do you mean something along the lines of a salt bath
i check the plug and it doesnt have a hole in the white bit which is good |

if they want to, they can get out, but they dont | Sorry LitJ, I wasn't saying you use it too warm, was just making sure your use of the wording 'warm but not hot', wasn't confused with what a human would consider warm compared to a snake.
