I just take a handful out of the woodie bin and throw them into the dishes, they eat the largest ones first and end up with all the tiny ones left.

I thought the same thing Saz, she reminds me of how other people's beardies look when gravid.
Not possible though, she's been in with my male only twice I think and I supervised the entire time - he didn't get anywhere near close enough to her for any shenanigans to happen. Have organised a breeding loan with Rob and the lovely Puff, so hopefully soon that big fat gut of hers will actually have some eggs in it.
Oh and no, she hasn't been digging. No change in behaviour, she is eating well, pooping frequently and basking. Quote: |

Yeah she does worry..But even if she is fat, it's not like the kids at school will tease her, or like it will make it hard for her to get a date. Fat and happy is still healthy.

Hello,
How long have you had her for, 2 months? It is spring in Australia, right? I agree, I think she looks to be carrying eggs. Unfertilized of course. They have more of a tendency to ovulate when in the presence of another female, or a male, even if they technically don't "mate", it is just nature for ovulation to occur.

Yeah, two months or somewhere around that. We've just come out of winter at the end of August.
And yes I do worry maybe a little bit too much, but I'd rather be a worry-wart than to be too complacent and end up with a sick or dead beardie.
Her gut has been kinda fat for a little while now though, and I definately can't feel any eggs in it so maybe it is just her being a little piggy, I dunno. She is off with a male this week so I guess if she lays eggs way too soon I will know that they are probably not fertile. As soon as she comes home I am going to put a laybox in her enclosure. Just have to wait and see what happens I guess.

Hey Miss B,
She sure is looking well - I did have her with a male for a little while, so quite possible she would be fertile with clutch. Usually you can see the clutch and they have practise digs so there is a bit of time still if she is gravid.
I think she is just in peak condition,
The girl in the pic has been digging and due to lay any day now.
My male was mating with her again after this pic was taken, so the males do them anytime! lol
Show your male a mirror - should put a smile on her face!!
Cheers
Adam,
