Beardie cage help!

My bearded dragon is about 23 months old, and he was in a small 3ft enclosure it was a brown colour, and i have recently moved him into a 4 foot enclosure which is a bright white colour. Ever since i moved him into the new cage (about a month) i havent seen him eat crickets or eat anything at all. He normally goes crazy for crickets.

So i bought some meal worms and he eats them. so at least i have gotten him eating.
But he never moves, ever. he lies away from the heat and lies there closing his eyes.

Some may say it is because it is getting colder but he wasnt this bad last year.
Any one know what i can do to help him out??

Not sure on the temps, my thermometor has been acting up, Is there any way I can make him be more used to the enclosure? Maybe, feeding him in another tank would help him eat? Any ideas
cheers

What type of lights are in the new tank??? Do they hurt your eyes now that they are in the white tank? (As opposed to how they were in the darker tank)

I was told to try the compact UV lights - and had trouble with my beardies wanting to 'hide' from it.... I was told by a fried that he had heard that they can be too bright and give beardies eye problems....
