Can anyone shed light on why our little Blade likes to crap in his food dish ?? It's not like the food dish is left in the for a long time, the pallets are replaced daily and he has crickets every second day. I find I pour a small amount into the dish, wet it with juice or water and he'll come and pick out his favorite colors. Ten minutes later he's lying on top of the dish and later that day there'll be a little message left behind with the pallets he hasn't eaten. Does anyone else have this behavour ??
Thanks in advance,
Al. |

He probably jumps in there cos he's hungry, has a bite to eat, and when he runs out of room in his stomach something has to make way... |

Could it be that he maybe a little dehydrated and that there is a little moisture in the dish. I know that they dont like water bowls to drink out of. My beardie drinks an eyedrop full of water every day and he gets misted twice a day. Mind you all animals have their own special personalities and that maybe his!

I find if he's dehydrated he jumps fully into his water bowl just after it's got the fresh water in. I don't think he's ever been misted before .. something to think about.
