depends where you are located to if you need a licence. short answer, yes you need a licence and no its VERY illegal to catch let alone catch and sell wild caught reptiles without a permit.

yea dude catching wild ones and selling them just for the sake of selling them it really not cool. you can keep bluies off license in some states but you'd have to check with the department relevant to your state on that and catching wild ones. in short most people won't but wild caught ones because what's wild should stay wild unless its rare or endangered

$10000 fine for catching and selling Bluetongues, and they're only worth $20ea. Not worth it mate. If you've already got some go let them go before the cops come and give you a $10000 fine. They could be tracing your internet connection right now!

mate no offence but it's a bit of a worry that you're down as a seller and don't even know what is legal...

Get on the NPWS site and get a reptile licence it comes with a list of what you can keep and how to go about selling.. Basically in NSW if it is'nt on your licence you can't legally sell it and the only way to get it on there is to get it off a breeder or some one with a licence, not from your backyard...
