Question Bluey help

I've had my bluey (sapphire) for a bit over a week now and im not certain that she is eating out of the bouls i put in. sometimes see eats being hand feed but all the time

I've tried almost every thing they can eat and no obvious signs of eating.

Should i be worried or is it to early to get worry

Cheers,
Gery

I don't know if I would worry yet. She will eat when she is hungry. Are you feeding the same food in the bowl as you are when you hand feed? If so, I expect all will be ok. From my experience with rescue blueys, your experience is normal. Try only putting a little bit of food, maybe certain small number of 'pieces' of food, and see if any disappear. You may find she is eating a little bit but its not obvious from the bowl.

Can blueys eat mealworms?

I got one of my fussy beardies eating out of a food dish by sticking a mealie or two in with the other food - the squirming mealie caught his attention and now he happily eats from the food dish when it's offered.

I'd get some garden snails (From a garden with no pesticides) if it does'nt eat these then i'd maybe worry. Mine can't resist them even if they've had a big feed just before..

Hi gery mealys dont have to go in the fridge, they only put them in fridge to prevent them from growing.
Thay stay dormant that way and don't turn into beatles and breed.

Meal worms are ok, but def not great to feed all the time..

There are a bluey foods available in pellet form now too, poor some in, through a 'couple' of meal worms in and they should go for it.

Yep just use small containers of them dosen't matter if they breed meens more for you.
Feed the mealys bannana skins and carrot, but only feed the blueys mealys about 2 times a week as they are high in fat
