I started breeding cockroaches about 2 weeks ago and around 4 have died since. I give them fresh carrots every 3 days or so. What could the problem be?

If you give us a little more info on how you are doing it, ie, what type of heating etc people might be able to help more

if you are talking about feeder roaches then i find once they drop there eggs they will die off
its just part of there life cycle nothing to be worried about for every 1 dead adult you will get 200 babies

4 isnt much in a big colony, i tend to loose a few. They also could be shed skins which can look remarkably like complete roaches.

You will also find that they only leave to 1yr max anyway - may have been the old fellas...
...you will struggle to breed a punnet of 30 or 40 to a level where they can sustain themselves, you should start off with about 500 or so...

roches dont like the light u might get better results with a heat mat and what do u keep them in do u have a lot of hides in small colonys if you have to much space breeding is slower if u put lots in and they r in contact with each other all of the time u will find that the numbers grow pritty fast

If you are running a heat lamp for them it'd probably be cheaper to buy them then breed them.
