roaches just do it themselves, no help required.
buy adult roaches, set them up with egg cartons, feed like u would normally and they make babies.
if u want them to breed over winter they'll need some heat,..but mine are going nuts on their own @ the moment,....
mine get dry catfood and butternut pumpkin most days, the day before i feed them to my dragons they get bearded dragon pellets and butternut pumpkin. (my lizards are kinda fat and the beardy pellets have 2% fat compared to 23%)
i found crickets to be a pain in the butt and stopped breeding them pretty quickly

60 a day huh?? Hmmmmm. To be honest I don't believe there is an exact figure, nor would the best beardie rearer for that matter. As long as it is eating regularly, has a good uvb source, keep humidity satisfactory and misted regularly with some greens thrown in and calcium dusted crix/roaches then all should be well.

The only problem with breeding bugs is the mite. Not reptile mite, but smaller types like fodder mite. I am highly allergic to mite so I had to kill off my bug breeding now I buy weekly and clean out in between orders.
