Ruff guide for adult carpet pythons and bredli etc...
1200mm Length, 600mm Width, 600mm High
But you can be creative, and depending on species etc...

depends on how old they are. Some books that I have read say that at least 60 cm for an adult childreni but it is best to give them room to stretch. ATM I have my 8 mth old childreni in a fish tank that is 600 x 450 x 300 and i am planning to keep her in it for a while to come.

My two large adults are housed in a cage roughly 80 x 50 x 50 cm if that helps

i'd say a 2 foot tank would be ok for the first 18 months or so, after that i'd go with a 3 foot tank, i have a couple 18 month old childrens in 2 foot tanks and they have almost outgrown them, i've just built 5 new enclosures sized, 900 long x 300 high x 400 wide, i'm plaining on keeping pairs of stimmys, maccies and childrens in them, i've watched my maccies climbing up high in their cages that are about 900 l x 600 h x 400 w and i've seen them fall onto the floor, for this reason i've made my new cages lower for their safety,
cheers,
steve...........
ps. just my own opinion...........

Hi,
I'll be putting by Stimmi into an exo-terra terraium and they are far from the sizes mentioned above. The breeder is supplying it and as most will agree he (westaussie) knows his stuff.
As far as I am aware stimsons are terrestrial so height definately isn't a problem.
I've had my two bobs worth now.
Peace out.

1/2 length = length
1/4 length = front to back and same for height. that's what Mr. Weigel says.

My adult stimmie is housed in an enclosure 2ft long 1ft deep and 1.5ft high.
He seems happy in it.
