HI Guys
Just a quick question with regards to de smelling my girl bredli's cage. I remodelled an old wardrobe for her some time ago now. I was just wondering what is the best way to get rid of a slight smell form her cage now. This is smell from her doing her business etc (not the wardrobe smell). She has been in there for about 10mths now.
Thanx
Chris

Did you seal the timber before housing your girl in there? If so then cleaning it properly should remove the smell.
If you didn't then I'd say it's too late.

What are you using as a substrate. I use "kitty litter" and when I clean this out the smell clears up.

IsK | Never too late to fix an enclosure, temporary housing in summer is as easy as a plastic tub from woolies with a few holes and a heat mat. You can seal and clear out pain fumes for an enclosure in a couple of days.
