Central Bearded Dragon Growth Rates

Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone had any info on the following:

I have 2 central beardies Ruski female 11 months old and Prickles 9 months old.

* Ruski is about 35cm roughly & prickles is too

Problem/Issue:

I notice Ruski has slowed in growth, she doesnt eat as much as she used to she has shed twice and it seems her growth spurt is done but shes quiet small.

Whilst prickles is 40cm and quiet chubby

just wondering fit there was a right length/weight ratio for ages etc.

They seem very happy, just noticed hes a lot bigger and more active/

Winter could be slowing them down. Mine are more boring these few months.

Are you talking about snout-to-vent length?

size is area , space and feeding amount and quality and also behaviour

they arnt like mammals where they grow a certain amount if you have bearded thats sits in the heat all day as opposed to one in the cooler end one may grow differently to the other

Size of habitat is 1200 x 800 x 800
Temp down hot end ranges from 35- 40 and cool end 25-30
They get fed crickets every 2nd day, salad every day and meal worms every day (small amount)
all dusted with reptile powder

so you feed one at a time?

without them seeing each other?

cut greens feeding back...feed live feed every other day only for a wk..
they each will eat more ...
dont offer greens before live feed...
calcium the week day live feed & vitamin the week end feeds

at that age you should be able to intriduce pinkie mice easily...
but wait until the smaller one picks up
