Hey all
Just need a little advice on when to change from mice to rats.
I have a coastal carpet and she is about 3ft. I have read that it is better to change to rats earlier as some snakes can be a bit difficult to switch over.
If i should be switching now, what size rat should i be getting.
Thanks all
Simon

you can try and switch over to small rats now if you wish, the sooner the better,
If it wont take them you might try to scent them with mice before offering or give it
a mouse first and just as it gets the mouse down offer the rat in quike sucession

Thanks again guys. Here are some pics of her devouring her first rat. Had no trouble. Chucked her in her feeding box and dangled the rat in front and wham!
