I have heard of a few people feeding chicken necks as a sort of 'treat' but as far as i know whole food (ie: rats, mice, chicks etc) are more nutritous as they contain all of the vitamins and minerals needed by the snake.
So if its only every now and then i can't see any harm in it.

yeah they have no guts and stuff, so it would be best not to use as the main food but if you cut off the fat IMO it can be better in some ways especially for species that have naturally low fat diets JMO i have nothing to back that up with.

woh what kind of breast are you talking about?! Behind it.. not IN it!

I think kangaroo meat would be a better treat as it seems more gamey and more likely to be eaten in the wild..as opposed to domesticated chickens.. IMO. But then again.... alot of snakes raid chicken houses.. so.. hmm.. never mind!

I don't do it for nuntritional value, its more a treat tried it a couple of times and to my suprise both took it without problems.

I have a post with pictures of both my Stimson's taking the chicken without hesitation.

I used to feed my big fella beef hearts every now and then. It takes a bit to get them on it but it is good when you do. Hardly any wastage.

feeding neck are alright though cut the excess fat off them, and use them for alternate feeds, mice/rat one feed, neck the next. If you only do necks the snake will get the runs the fur tend to bind it all together.
