I was thinking of getting a snake ive read up on the Childrens Python.
Any suggestions or tips for this species? Are they category 1 licence? |

|  | Subscriber | | | | They are an excellent small snake for beginners. I personally like the stimsoni best in the children's family.
A good book for a beginner is "Keeping Children's Pythons" It covers feeding, enclosures, heating, lighting and other keeping information. http://www.strictlyreptiles.com.au/s...ex&cPath=61_62

These two books will give you the majority of information you require for many years to come. I actually read Weigel's book 15 odd years ago. 1st ed, whenever that was (book's at home)

I also reccomend reading "Keeping Childrens Pythons", I have a copy and it is really helpful, covers everything you need to know! |
