Coastal Shedding problem

Hey guys,

Our juvi coastal has had a problem shed, we've got most of it off, but we cant get it off its head, we have soaked it and its still stuck on there. Dont want to force it off and hurt it.

Any advice?

Cheers
Emz

i have been told by a trustful source, that you rub a oil on them, its called "Glycerine"... wipe a bit on the skin u cant get off... u may have to get it froma chemist, dunno if the supermarket will have it, but u could try them...

This has worked for me in the past, as well as being recommended to me at the time I needed it. Get a pillowcase, soak it in warm water, put the snake inside and stick it back in the enclosure, mist it occasionally with a spray bottle and leave the snake there for an hour or two. You'll find it'll get the old skin more pliable and thus making it easier to get off, it the snake hasn't already done it itself  - watch the eyes though. Good luck.
